Las Vegas, Nev. -
Whitman College won the inaugural Las Vegas Blast
played in Las Vegas Friday and Saturday. Whitman
defeated all of its opponents to start its 2007 season
with a perfect 4-0 record. In fact, Whitman did not
lose a single game in the event, defeating each
opponent 3-0.
The Las Vegas Blast
marked the opening of the season for all of the
participating NCAA Division III institutions.
Participating teams included the College of Notre Dame
(Baltimore, MD), Rivier College (Nashua, NH), Russell
Sage College (Troy, NY), Whitman College (Walla Walla,
WA), and Whitworth University (Spokane, WA).
