Vegas Hoopla

The world-famous "Las Vegas Strip"

Las Vegas continues to be one of the top travel destinations in the country. Trip Sports provides an opportunity for basketball teams to travel to Las Vegas by competing in the Las Vegas Hoopla. This event has quickly become one of our most popular events as participants are able to experience the world-famous Las Vegas Strip!

The 2012 event will have most teams arrive on Dec. 18th (Tuesday) and practice on Wednesday. Most games will be played on Thursday and Friday, leaving Saturday as a free day for optional activities. Teams may opt to enjoy the beautiful weather at the hotel’s outdoor pool, walk the strip, or embark on any number of area sightseeing tours (Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, etc).

Note: You do have the option to reduce the length of your stay or adjust the travel dates. Contact us for more information.

All participants are scheduled to stay at the Monte Carlo—the official hotel for the Las Vegas Hoopla. The Monte Carlo offers you all of the luxury you would expect and value you simply cannot ignore. Its ideal location offers immediate access to all of the action, excitement and entertainment of the world‐famous Las Vegas Strip.

Do not underestimate the value of staying on the strip. Most other Vegas basketball events have you stay off-strip and rely on a shuttle ride to get to all the attractions. Trip Sports firmly believes that this degrades your overall experience. On a trip to Las Vegas, you are going to walk around and explore many, many times during your stay. Trust us, you don't want to take a shuttle ride every time and you certainly don't want to experience the shuttle wait times.

The Centennial Hills Community Center is the competition site for the Las Vegas Hoopla. This facility is one of the newest in Las Vegas, having opened in August of 2007. The site features two gymnasiums and is located approximately 25 minutes from the Las Vegas strip.
